There is no app for the iPhone because Apple do not allow developers sufficient access, at present, to ringtones. Hence the rigmarole below to install tones.
For iPhones download the .m4r version of a tone. This can’t be done via your phone, only on a computer.
To install it in your phone follow the instructions as in Nik’s comment :
- Download your tone as an m4r to your desktop.
- Plug your iPhone in and fire up iTunes.
- Drag the m4r from the desktop to the iPhone symbol in iTunes. It will automatically put it into the tones folder. Delete the m4r from the desktop.
- Unplug your phone, go to settings/sounds/ringtone and click on your new tone.
On an Android phone one can download a tone directly and set it as a ringtone.
As one can’t download a tone direct into the iPhone from the mobile version of the website, nor write an app with access to ringtone information this is the only way to proceed – for the time being.
Hopefully Apple will at some point make changes which simplify the process.
Adding a Mobile Sinfonia button to your home screen
The iPhone version of the website is the nearest thing to an app that is possible at present. You can add a button to the home page of your screen by clicking on the share icon, while looking at the website on Safari, and clicking the “Add to Home Screen” button.
